Summer is not quite here, but I couldn’t wait to talk with you once again. I have to tell you how thankful I am for you. When I asked for your help in the last letter, your response was overwhelming. So many of you volunteered to read and review my two published novels, Everything I’ve Dreamed Of and RILY, Forever. I appreciate each and every review. With almost 2000 Newsletter followers, I consider myself blessed.
If you haven’t had a chance to read RILY, Forever, I have some exciting news. On May 11th only RILY, Forever will be on sale for only $1.99. Get it here
WHAT’S NEW IN MY WORLD?
Things in the Bennett household have been crazy busy with travel for business, a house for sale, writing a new book, and deciding which state to move to. So far, the top contenders are the great states of Florida, Texas, or Ohio. I have family in all three and the cost of living is more reasonable than my beloved Jersey. Lucy the Maltipoo votes for Texas while Pretzel the Amazon, yearns for the tropical Florida weather. I’m not certain. What state would you move to if you could go anywhere?
Summer is a great time to sit back and enjoy a good book and a tall cold drink. Because some of you were too busy with the Easter holiday and didn’t get a chance to enter the last contest I ran, I have decided to do it again. If you would like to read and review Everything I’ve Dreamed Of, send me an email or just reply to this newsletter, and I will send you a free digital copy. If you post your honest review by June 1, 2017, I’ll enter you in a $10.00 Amazon gift card giveaway.
My new book, Six Months is complete. It is best categorized as women’s fiction with romantic elements. I am in the process of looking for a home for it…a publisher. As soon as I have one and I have a release date, I will let you know.
In the meantime, I am writing a new book about a young Middle Eastern woman, Zara, who is shunned by her whole family and has to build a new life for herself and her child in a new city. For years, she has been shamed for being carefree and out-spoken, so much so that her self-esteem and self-confidence have taken a hit. But then Alex Stone walks into her life and shows her that she is beautiful and strong inside and out. I haven’t chosen a title. Any thoughts?
I’ve been making changes to my website. For instance, I now have a photo gallery. Please stop by, take a peek, and send me a message if you like.
I love sharing my news with readers on my Facebook page, and hearing yours. If you have not yet followed me there, here’s a link to get started.
I hope all of you enjoy Summer and I hope to hear from you on Facebook or email.
